Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; fold gently until just combined.
  • Fold in chopped strawberries until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, slice into squares and serve, optionally dusting with powdered sugar.
