Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; fold gently until just combined.
Fold in chopped strawberries until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, slice into squares and serve, optionally dusting with powdered sugar.
