Ingredients

  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and the beef mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
