Ingredients

  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and removing seeds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, filling generously.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  • Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving.
