Tuna Pasta Salad: Make Tuna Pasta Salad with pantry staples, clear cues, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients

  • 8  oz about 2 cups small shell pasta or any small bite-size pasta
  • 7  oz canned albacore tuna in water drained (about 1 can)
  • ¼  cup red or green onion, chopped
  • 1  cup frozen peas thawed
  • ½  cup mayonnaise
  • ½  cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and let it cool a bit.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, drained tuna, chopped celery, onion, and peas.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  • Pour about half of the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Just before serving, stir in the remaining dressing for creaminess and serve.
